Moving Asure ID to another PC.

1. You will need to backup the database that is in your Asure ID directory under database. Copy this to another location. I would back this whole directory up and move it to your new location, once it is install on your new PC.

2. You will need to backup the work directory as well and everything in it. The Word directory has all our badge layouts in there. Back this entire directory up as well and replace this one on your new PC once you have it installed on the new machine.

3. Then you will need to install Asure ID on your new PC.

4. DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING FROM THE OLD PC, TILL YOU HAVE EVERYTHING UP AND RUNNING ON YOUR NEW PC.

5. Then you will need to call Asure ID at there main office at this number 819-777-8229 and when you get the the automation press # 1 then you will be connected to a customer support personnel to register your product with them again, or you can try the online register method. Though this doesn't work mos tof the time, but sometimes it does work. You will not be able to use your software until this step is done.
